The Kulturfabrik Hainburg is also a centre for scientific research, processing and archiving of the archaeological finds from the Province of Lower Austria.  From the second floor visitors can glimpse the world of science through a glass atrium, looking into the restoration workshops which lie directly beneath it on the first floor.
